I was commissioned by SeekOut in collaboration with Pentagram to create a bespoke set of digital illustrations for use across all media as part of the SeekOut rebrand.

The rebrand project won Gold, Best Visual Identity, Professional Services Sector at the Transform Awards Europe.

Inspired by MacOS Big Sur wallpapers, using point gradients in greyscale. Created in Illustrator.

Enamel and metal pin design created for Aduro’s app product launch (Aduro Connect). The pin was manufactured and distributed to every employee and partner to celebrate the milestone.

My concept was that you are peering from a ship, gliding over the Earth, and looking toward the “North Star”. Aduro’s company North Star was the launch of this product and helping millions of people via its use.

In support of Black Lives, I created an original design for t-shirts for Aduro employees with donations going to each employee’s preferred local Black-owned organization. We worked with a local Black-owned screen printing company to create the finished product. Illustration created using Procreate for iPad OS and Adobe Illustrator.

Annual Firestarter Award re-design for Aduro holiday party. Each award is given to an employee (Firestarter) by way of majority vote from peers. I wanted the final piece to play with light and transparency, using the Aduro flame as the showpiece. Final materials were acrylic and brushed aluminum.

I was tasked with creative directing and executing a back-cover ad design for my employer, for Seattle Business Magazine. My employer was selected as a Best Place to Work by Seattle Business Magazine, who offered us the coveted back-cover to promote our company culture.

I asked colleagues what they wanted to be great at, and then wrote the phrases and doodles out in various handwriting styles to give it an authentically human feel.

A passion project for my digital publishing final in college. We were tasked with illustrating and creating a book by hand, instead of doing a digital layout. We were not required to write our own material, but I felt a deep desire to craft a short narrative for a children’s book that places the protagonist in a situation where he is bullied. Part autobiographical, and part fiction, I created this story with pencil, pen and India ink on canvas paper, stained it with tea, and bound it with denim-covered chip board. The story, in sequence is as follows…

I dedicate this book to you, if you have ever felt alone, or told you were “less than”. I dedicate this book to the children who are searching for their voice, and don’t yet understand they are the heroes of their own story.

Stay strong. In the end, you win.

1. Of all the boys on Belford Lane, the littlest one was Christopher Cain.

2. So little, indeed, that he’d often meet the fists of the bullies of Shadow Street.

3. They’d follow him home after school each day, shouting mean words only bullies would say. Some words were silly, but other ones hurt, as they’d push little Christopher into the dirt.

4. Christopher’s father loved him so. He would say, “my dear son, just let it go. Deep down in their hearts, those bullies have fear. Just know that you’re safe, with me, right here.”

5. Day after day, and bruise after bruise, little Christopher knew that he’d soon have to choose, to either stand his ground or keep running away—which one was best, he could not yet say.

6. Week after week, and scar after scar, the Shadow Street bullies had gone too far. Christopher knew he was strong enough now. Stronger than them, some way, some how.

His tears didn’t come and the pain ceased at once, he stood up and faced them and said, “Enough. I like being little and kind and smart. You bullies have too much fear in your hearts.”

7. Something wonderful happened that moment, that day. The Shadow Street bullies ran away. Little Christopher knew he had made the right choice. At that moment, that day, he found his voice.

I created these posters for a sales finalist meeting on behalf of my employer (ADURO, Inc.) for Windstream. My colleague took their existing well-being program name and designed a sharp new proposed logo. I then took the logo, and drew upon their existing tech-focused corporate identity to execute these posters to be displayed on-site for their finalist meeting with our employer.
